Elon Musk (b. 1971) is a South African man, with nationality both in the US and Canada. He is an engineer, philanthropist and business magnate. He is the co-founder and CEO of Tesla, and he leads all the Tesla designs, he decides in all battery and solar energy products. His aim is to revolutionize transportation. He believes in building tunnels to change circulation, because that way weather would not influence traffic and pedestrians would be safer.

His first company was called Zip2 Corporation in 1995, and was created by his brother Kimbal too. They sold it for millions of dollars and later they created what is now known as PayPal, which they later sold too.

Elon Musk also founded SpaceX, with the intention of building spacecraft for commercial space travel. It made history when it launched its Falcon 9 rocket into space.

One of Musk’s ideas is to move the entire USA onto solar energy by changing the roofs of the houses into solar panels. This is still under study.
